Résumé
Dans cet article, l’auteur propose une réflexion sur la place et la forme que peut prendre l’utilisation de l’histoire des mathématiques dans l’enseignement à l’université. Il insiste en particulier sur l’intérêt d’un cours d’histoire des mathématiques dans la formation des maîtres, pour combattre des idées fausses sur ce que sont ou pas les mathématiques, pour donner une culture qui impactera la manière dont on les enseigne et pour comprendre comment fonctionne la recherche en mathématiques. Abstract This text is a paper of the meeting ‘History of Mathematics and Mathematics Instruction’in June 1977 in Poitiers. The author outlines how to bring to effect a relation between history of mathematics and its instruction; that means, how to incorporate short abstracts about the history into mathematics teaching in a way appropriate to interest and motivate the students. Therefore, the author presents some of his own teaching experiences concerning this problem. (ZDM/Mathdi) Zusammenfassung Dieser Text ist ein Vortrag, der auf der Tagung ‘Mathematikgeschichte und -unterricht’im Juni 1977 in Poitiers gehalten wurde. In dem Vortrag werden Ueberlegungen darueber angestellt, wie man eine Beziehung herstellen kann zwischen der Geschichte der Mathematik und dem Mathematikunterricht; d.h. wie man Abrisse ueber die Geschichte auf interessante und die Studenten motivierende Art in den Unterricht integrieren kann. Dazu werden einige Erfahrungen aus der Unterrichtspraxis des Autors dargelegt. (ZDM/Mathdi)
