Pour l’auteur, il est essentiel que l’histoire des mathématiques soit utilisée de manière comparative. Les paradigmes (au sens de Kuhn) anciens grec et chinois sont liés au contexte socio-culturel de leur apparition. Dans la diversité du monde moderne, tous deux sont utiles à la formation des étudiants d’aujourd’hui. Abstract For the author, it is essential that the history of mathematics be used in a comparative way. The ancient Greek and Chineseparadigms (as defined by Kuhn) are related to the socio-cultural context of their appearance. In the diversity of the modern world, both are useful for the training of today’s students.
