Mary Ellen Rudin, née Mary Ellen Estill, mathématicienne américaine née en 1924.
Ses recherches portent sur les espaces topologiques.
Elle est tout particulièrement connue pour avoir construit des contre-exemples, notamment en 1971 un espace de Dowker, dont C. H. Dowker avait conjecturé en 1951 qu’il n’en existait pas.
Elle est mariée au mathématicien Walter Rudin (1921-2010).
