L’auteur de cet article présente ses réflexions en vue de présenter les mathématiques à partir d’activités.

Abstract

The author gives a historical surview, states the reasons for the ‘return to the sources’ and presents proposals for the performence of this ideas. He desribes the following techniques: construction of different applications, procedures of ballistics and architecture, methods of navigation, procedures for measuring, observations of stars. He thinks, that the return to the sources of technics may correct the mistakes caused by the present teaching of mathematics. He proposes to integrate the history of mathematics in teaching and to mathematize situations of daily life. (ZDM/Mathdi)

Zusammenfassung

Der Autor gibt einen geschichtlichen Ueberblick, begruendet die ‘Rueckkehr zu den Quellen’ und macht Vorschlaege zur Durchfuehrung seiner Ideen. Er beschreibt folgende Techniken: Konstruktionen der verschiedensten Anwendungen, Verfahren der Ballistik und der Architektur, Methoden der Navigation, Messverfahren, Beobachtung der Sterne. Er meint, dass die Rueckkehr zu den Quellen der Technik die Fehler des gegenwaertigen Mathematikunterrichts korrigieren kann. Er schlaegt vor, die Geschichte der Mathematik in den Unterricht zu integrieren und Situationen zu mathematisieren. (ZDM/Mathdi)
