Résumé

Grâce à une étude comparative de deux livres de cours sur le thème des statistiques, est esquissé l’espace de travail potentiel existant en classe de première en France (11e année). L’approche statistique implicative met clairement en évidence une tendance très fortement probabiliste et calculatoire en classe scientifique et une tendance plus confuse en classe économique où joue ce que les auteurs appellent l’intrication des signifiés de la probabilité.

Abstract

Based on a comparative study of two textbooks on the topic of statistics, we sketch the potential working space existing at Year 11 in France. A strong calculative and formal probabilistic approach in the scientific section and a more vague tendency in the economic section are highlighted by a statistical implicative analysis. In the second case, what we call the intricacy of probability’s signifiers seems to have a real importance.
